... our origins ...
Our company’s history dates from 1980, when a metalworking shop was established, which was the beginning of our business. It manufactured drawn lathing used mainly in the private sector housing. In October 1992, a private partnership was established named "Ślusarstwo produkcyjne s. c. Zbigniew Ziemiński i syn" ["Production Metalwork, private partnership, Zbigniew Ziemiński and son"] with its registered office and business place situated in Zamość, at 37A Obrońców Pokoju St. The manufacturing range remained unchanged. In 1998, the partnership was transformed into the "Zartmet" Production and Trade Partnership.
In the course of time, the range of products was extended with galvanised sheet flashings as applied for roofing as well as scaffolding of the so-called Warsaw type.
Launching in August 2000 of a line for roll forming of flat sheet metal into a trapezoid sheet with the T-18 marked profile turned out to be a great success. In 2002, the company head office and production plant were transferred to Zamość, 63 Szczebrzeska St.
After the transfer, the company's sales started to grow rapidly, which made us transform the company, in conformity with the applicable law, into a registered partnership. The new name was "Zartmet" Z. Ziemiński, A. Ziemiński sp. j. The company assumed the present organisational form in August 2003.

In the following years, we successively marketed new patterns of pressed trapezoid profiles and pantile sheets. To make our offer more comprehensive, we started to manufacture all standard flashings and roof finishing elements. The whole product range is covered with the technical approval of the Building Research Institute in Warsaw as conferred in 2004.
Apart from constructing new factory shops, in 2005, we put into service a modernised office and amenity building, where we launched one of the most modern customer service rooms in the region.
We were awarded a number of prizes for that modernisation, including the "Golden Trowel" Prize.
In the same year, we received, as the only roofing manufacturer in the region, the certificate of conformity of our Quality Management System with the ISO 9001: 2000 international standard.

Today, we are undoubtedly the largest manufacturer of profiled sheet metal as applied for both roof and wall coverings. We have in the continuous production offer the broadest assortment of modern trapezoid profiles, starting from the T-7 elevation profile, through T-12EKO, T-12PLUS, T-14 and T-14EKO low profiles, and T-18, T-18EKO, T-18PLUS medium profiles, as well as T-35. We have also the richest choice in the region of pantile sheets, beginning from the classic "Diamond", through the clear-cut "Nephrite", the mellow "Opal" and - the unquestionable hit of the recent months - the noble "Topaz". All profiles are manufactured of highest quality raw materials, coming from both Polish as well as German, French, and British metallurgical works, global concerns well-known for their highest quality, such as Arcelor, Tyssen Krupp, Myriad, Corus and Mittal.
As the roof consists not only of the roofing itself, we have supplemented our offer, for your convenience, with the other roofing elements, beginning from initial covering membranes, through membranes permeable to steam, Fakro company roof windows, and complete gutter systems of such companies as Raiko, Budmasz and Gamrat.
Everybody who builds a house of their dreams has a dilemma when choosing technologies and materials most suitable for their needs. Our Sales Department personnel, both at the company's head office and at all branches, is always ready to provide you with advice and comprehensive assistance at choosing proper materials, types of profiles and colour schemes of roofing. If necessary, they will also make proper measurements, calculations, and valuations of investment projects and are at your disposal for any situation. You do not need to worry about proper and prompt delivery of the roofing ordered as we have our own specialist transport means, available free-of-charge for our customers.

The rapid transformations that can be observed in Poland in recent months as well as the desire to meet the ever-growing requirements of our customers have made us extend our production capacities. In consequence, we have significantly increased in recent years our transport facilities and started to construct one of the most modern factory shops in the region, with the area of over 2300 square meters.
